I started listening, but pod casts that go over 10 minutes are full of hot air. Keep it short and it makes a good pod cast.

... I would love to see the original, un-remade version on the Wii virtual console, along with Perfect Dark 64.
When I want to play retro games, I don't want them George Lucas'd to appeal to a younger audience.

I think the motion control for flOw, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword are implemented beautifully. I have COD 4 for both the 360 and the PS3, and I don't miss the rumble feature for the PS3 version. And I don't hear PC gamers complaining that there is no rumble in mouse/keyboard playing.

I hardly think the "music industry" is in trouble. All that has happened in Europe, North America and other Western music markets over the past half decade is massive rise in independent music labels and distribution methods (i.e. digital downloading). Maybe the mainstream gaming industry can save the dinosaur bands like Metallica and other c#ck-rock easily found in guitar hero and rockband (and the dinosaur corporations who make up the backers of such bands), but all it will do i...
Here is an easy answer to why we game, and it doesn't involve a complicated argument in the form of this book: we game because it is fun.

I have both consoles and I don't have a problem with either controller. Most games on each console allow you to swap the R1/R2 and the L1/L2 layouts, so its easy enough to switch them. I play COD 4 online on both the 360 and the PS3, and swapping between both is simple.
For the record, I approved the article because I felt it was legitimate news (whether you agree with the interviewee or not), and because it relates to a news article which generated a lot of discussion on N4G.com last week.
And for the record, I own all three next gen consoles and a gaming PC - so how I can be called a "Sony fan-boy" is beyond me.
It is a valid news story intended to clarify an earlier news story in which a former Xbox hardware insider was interviewed on the Xbox 360 hardware issue.
It is legitimate news, even if it is controversial.
I think the gist of the article is that racism is sprouted by people of all nations, and of all races. The use of the Union Jack was decided because it fits the story, and because Australia (where the article was written) features the Union Jack in it flag.
The PS3 is a much better iPhone that the iPhone. And if only Live worked, the Xbox 360 it would be the best iPhone of all. Maybe even better than the Wii's motion control iPhone...

Is it just me, or did the N64 version look better?
What's a Mac?
Part II will be out next week. We didn't want to bombard the average gamer with too much info at once. Glad you liked the article.
Is there a reason that the editorial uses a 4 year old PC game (Half Life 2) as its basis for what they see as the best standard a PC can do? That would be like me using Halo 2 as a basis for what consoles in 2008 can, at best, achieve.
Truly he is a Sony fan boy.
PS. I don't game on PC, and in fact I own all three Nextgen consoles, but even I know an ill informed fan boy article when I read one.
Why the hell is a Major Nelson infommercial classified news on N4G?
D
PS. Yes I own an Xbox 360, no I don't own a PS3.
My gamertag for XBL is already attached to my N4G account. Obviously you are new here or you would have known how to search for that.
D
And we get to pay annual fees for the privilege of crappy XBL. Why didn't I get a PS3 instead?

"In many ways, many, many ways eBay is an albatross around the necks' of gamers."
Does the author of the article realise the albatross is a symbol of good luck with sailors?
Definitely his best review since Medal of Honor Airborne. And the best pisstake on homophobia I've seen in gaming circles.

So should Microsoft enjoy being 3rd everywhere outside of the US?
